Harm Minimization Measures [Research Report]

"Review of the ACT Government's Harm Minimisation Measures" (2005, March) is a study produced by the Centre for Gambling Research, Australian National University. The main focus is to report on the measures introduced between 1993 and 2002 in the Australian Capitial Territory were:

1) a $10 maximum bet on EGMs (electronic gaming machines, or ‘poker’ machines);
2) a mandatory three-hour shutdown of gaming machines each day, and;
3) a restriction on cash payment of winnings.
